01Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to vangead.com (the "Site"). The Site is owned and operated by Vangead International Enterprises Ltd. ("VG Financial Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service (these "Terms"), together with our Cookie Policy, Risk Disclosure, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

02Description of Service

The Site is an informational resource maintained by VG Financial Service. Its purposes include, but are not limited to: presenting our currency exchange and remittance services, regulatory licensing, and branch information; publishing daily indicative exchange rates and a currency conversion calculator; hosting public-facing documents such as our AML policy, Privacy Policy, and FINTRAC registration; and receiving general inquiries and quote requests. Important: The Site is an informational platform and does not constitute an offer, undertaking, or contract for any financial service. All foreign exchange and cross-border remittance transactions must be initiated at a licensed VG Financial Service branch and are subject to KYC identity verification and compliance review. Indicative rates published online are for reference only — the final settlement rate is the live quote provided by the branch at the time of inquiry.

03Information Accuracy and Disclaimers

VG Financial Service uses commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the timeliness and accuracy of the Site. However, due to market volatility, regulatory changes, and system latency, some content may be imprecise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: discrepancies between displayed indicative rates and actual settlement rates; the availability, content, or privacy practices of any third-party website linked from the Site; any decision made in reliance on Site content, and the consequences thereof; or service unavailability caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to network outages, system failures, or regulatory actions. The final terms, rights, and obligations of any specific transaction are set out in the written or electronic agreement signed at the branch.

04Intellectual Property

All original content on the Site — including text, design, logos, graphics, PDF documents, blog articles, and source code — is the property of Vangead International Enterprises Ltd. or its licensors and is protected under the Canadian Copyright Act and applicable international treaties. No reproduction, adaptation, translation, derivation, distribution, or commercial use is permitted without our prior written consent. Permitted fair-dealing uses include personal browsing, limited sharing with attribution, and reasonable quotation in news reporting and academic research.

05User Conduct

By using the Site, you agree not to: scrape Site content via automated tools (crawlers, scripts, bulk requests) or place undue load on the servers; impersonate VG Financial Service or any of its employees, or use Site materials to commit fraud; attempt unauthorized access to back-end systems, bypass security mechanisms, or introduce malicious code; use the Site to facilitate money laundering, sanctions evasion, fraud, or any unlawful transfer of funds; or publish or distribute content unlawful under Canadian law. Any breach entitles us to immediately terminate your access and, where appropriate, to report the matter to FINTRAC and other competent authorities.

06Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, VG Financial Service and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost goodwill, or lost data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory. Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory obligations VG Financial Service owes as a registered MSB under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA) or applicable consumer protection legislation.

07Modifications to Terms

VG Financial Service may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect regulatory developments, business changes, or operational improvements. Material updates will be announced by updating the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site following such update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. You are encouraged to review this page periodically. If you do not agree with any change, you should discontinue use of the Site.

08Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising from your use of the Site, are governed by the federal laws of Canada and the provincial laws of British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and VG Financial Service agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of British Columbia for any dispute arising under these Terms.

09Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
